The Bank Tavern - “Tucked away from the hustle & bustle of the city centre, The Bank Tavern has stood since the 1800’s. Surviving an alarming number of riots, two world wars, Bristol City Council town planners and Thatcher. An independent free house, it prides itself on an award winning ales and ciders, excellent food and not taking itself too seriously. With music on throughout the week and an ever rotating selection of ales & ciders its always worth a visit.”

The Bank Tavern is my first client that I did design work for whilst I was studying at university. Being my regular pub that I visited most weekends, as time went on I got to know the pub landlord Sam Gregory. Sam asked me to design a monthly listings poster, along with business cards and flyers. As time went on I redesigned the menu’s as they were dated and also designed email templates that were sent out to his customers. Sam’s pub food started getting really good reviews and was highly commended in the Bristol Good Food magazine, I designed an advertisement that also went into this magazine.

Sam is still an ongoing client and its always a pleasure doing work for my favourite pub in Bristol!
